Ars Magna Lucis et Umbrae is a 17th century Roman scientific text that talks about, among many things, how light and shadow are created by celestial bodies. Light and shadow are a dual concept that has fascinated me. Although they have been studied in art for centuries or perhaps millennia, the power they have in photography is much more severe and transformative.

The great art of observation, of the perception of light and shadow and its momentary capture in photographic form. In my work I always try to bring to the surface the soul or essence of the subjects or objects, to do that it is important to show both sides of the coin.
